1. Observe a person's hands very closely. Is the person's hand soft? Or rough? Does it have calluses? Or are the nails manicured? Looking a person's hands can tell you what they do most often. Maybe they work in a garden, or have paint under their nails.
2. Watch How the Hands Move: If a person holds their hands very tightly or stiffly, the may be very set in their ways, and not open. That is true for a young person (an older persona may be suffering from arthritis).
On the other hand, a person with a loose hand that lets you move the palm and fingers easily is a flexible person that likes to go with the flow.
3. Use the information you have observed when reading palms.
